Q: Do you sell wholesale?
A: We offer a discount to colleges and schools that buy in bulk (50 or more of each item). Please email alan@globalsugarart.com for more details. We do not wholesale to cake shops, bakeries or home based cake businesses.
Q: Has my order shipped?
A: If you place your order by 1:00 PM EST, we generally ship the same day or the next business day on very busy days. If your order is placed late Friday or on the weekend, it will not ship until Monday OR Tuesday. You will receive an email with a tracking number once the order is shipped. You must wait 24 hours for UPS to have the tracking information on their website. The package cannot be tracked on the first day.
Q: What other shipping options do I have?
A: We
will gladly ship any order within the US and US territories via USPS
Priority Mail if requested. The minimum fee is $6.80. This is ideal for
small orders under one pound and orders to Hawaii and Alaska. Delivery
time is usually 2-5 days but it is not guaranteed. If your order is oversize, you will be contacted regarding additional shipping charges. This may delay the shipping of your order.
Q: I don't see the shipping charges in my cart?
A: Since
UPS shipping charges are based on the weight of the package and your
zip code, you must be logged in or registered to see your shipping
charges. If your shipping address in international, a military address
(APO, FPO) or US territories, we will email you a shipping quote once
your order is packed, weighed and measured (see international shipping
question below).
Also- If you are ordering from within the US and you do not see a shipping amount, it may be that your shopping cart exceeds the weight UPS can automatically calculate. If you have ordered a lot of fondant or heavy pans, we may need to call you with a shipping quote after you have successfully submitted the order. You always have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund if you choose not to have your order shipped once you get the shipping quote.
Q: How do you calculate international shipping?

Q: What is "Phone Ordering and "Fax Ordering"?
A: If
you wish to place your order on the internet but not your credit card
details, choose "phone ordering" or "fax ordering" for a payment
option. Once your order is submitted, please call us toll free at
1-800-420-6088 with your credit card details or fax them to
518-561-3043.
Q:Is my credit card secure on your website?
A: ABSOLUTELY!
We use secure encryption to ensure your credit card and personal
information are secure. Most people don't realize that sending a credit
card number on a secure web site is safer than giving it over the
telephone. Telephone conversations are much easier to tap into,
especially portable and cell phones. You can always choose "Phone
Ordering" or "Fax Ordering" for your payment type. Simply submit your
order online and call or fax us with your credit card details.
